Opening times

The Practice will be closed from 13:00 on the following dates for staff training and professional development. If you require medical assistance during these times, please seek assistance from a local pharmacies, 111 or if required emergency care services.

• Wednesday 18th November 2026
• Thursday 25th February 2027

The telephones will be diverted to the Out of Hours provider, who will be covering any clinical emergencies.

Please dial 111 if you need medical assistance.  If your problem is life threatening dial 999. 

The Dispensary will continue to be open for medication collection from 3pm. 

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or Call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

The Practice is pleased to offer extended opening hours at the following times:

Monday: 

• 6.30pm-7.30pm for pre booked telephone triage consultations with a GP. 
• 6:30pm-7:20pm for pre booked nurse appointments 

Tuesday:

• 6.30-7.30am for pre booked telephone triage consultations with our Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
• 6.30-7.30pm for pre booked telephone triage consultations with our Clinical Pharmacist (fortnightly)

Wednesday:

• 7.40-8am for pre booked face to face appointment with our Practice Nurse.
• 6.30-7.30pm for pre booked telephone triage consultations with our Emergency Care Practitioner (fortnightly)

Thursday:

• 6.30-7.30am for pre booked telephone triage consultations with our Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
• 7.40-8am for pre booked face to face appointment with our Practice Nurse.

Friday:

• 7.40-8am for pre booked face to face appointment with our Practice Nurse.

The Out of Hours service is responsible for emergency issues from 6:30pm.

How do I book an appointment?

Contact your GP practice in the usual way to request an appointment. If there is no appointment available at your practice, they may offer you an appointment with the GP Extended Access Service, if this is right for you.

If your practice is closed and you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or Call 111. They may also be able to book an appointment for you with the GP Extended Access Service.

Please note that your consent will be required in order for an appointment to be booked for you.

• 8:30am to 1pm
• 3pm to 6:30pm

Every weekday (excluding bank holidays).

These are the same as Stradbroke Medical Centre's opening hours (see above).
